Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani, who is among the best-known and wealthiest Reggae Singers was born on Friday, February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He was a part of the iconic film Shottas with another famous singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996 like Father Like Son and several singles, including Judge Not with Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Does It (remix) as well as Sensimelia each of which contributed to his growing reputation in the new wave of reggae musicians. In 1997, Ky-Mani formed a band with Praswell (Fugees) to record Avenue which was a smash cover from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was a part of the Midem event (an international music showcase) and was first staged in Miami. Marley's show on stage at Cameo Theatre was broadcast live across 36 countries via Caribbean News Agency. Marley was the focus of bidding battles. In 1997, Marley signed a contract with Gee Street/V2
